Objective: To analyze the clinical application effect of vibrating sputum extractor in preventing pulmonary infection in patients with severe cerebral apoplexy. Methods: In this study, 76 subjects were randomly selected from severe stroke patients admitted to our hospital from October 2019 to October 2020, and the patients were grouped according to the method of coin toss. Among them, 38 patients who took vibrating sputum machine as the method to prevent pulmonary infection were classified as group Ⅰ, and 38 patients who used traditional sputum method to prevent pulmonary infection were classified as group Ⅱ. Results: After comparison, sputum effection and sputum satisfaction in group I were significantly higher than those in group Ⅱ, P<0.05;After statistical analysis, the incidence of pulmonary infection in group Ⅰ was significantly lower than that in group Ⅱ(P<0.05). Conclusion: In the process of preventing pulmonary infection in patients with severe stroke, the application of vibrating sputum extractor can not only improve the effect of sputum extraction and sputum satisfaction, but also effectively reduce the probability of pulmonary infection, laying a foundation for efficient treatment and better recovery of patients.
