“中国牌”晶体的发现及其启示

摘　　要：20世纪70年代,中国科学家在非线性光学晶体研究领域放弃跟踪国外已有研究的做法,依据原创科学理论——阴离子基团理论开展自主探索,先后发现了BBO、LBO、KBBF等系列硼酸盐优质非线性光学晶体,其中BBO、LBO两种晶体在20世纪90年代被国际学术界誉为“中国牌”晶体,KBBF晶体对西方国家实行技术“禁运”。BBO等系列优质晶体的发现,引领了非线性光学晶体研究的国际发展方向,是当代中国最具国际影响力的前沿科学研究之一。以史为鉴,在今天大力倡导自主创新的历史时期,“中国牌”晶体的成功经验能在原始创新的内部驱动、外部环境营造、创新人才培养等方面给予人们有益的启示。In 1970s,Chinese scientists resolutely abandoned the practice of tracking existing studies abroad and embarked on the road of original innovation process of nonlinear optical crystals independently.Under the guidance of the original scientific theory--the anionic group theory,Chinese scientists have discovered a series of high⁃quality nonlinear optical crystals of borate,such as BBO,LBO and KBBF.BBO and LBO crystals were well known as"China brand"crystals in the international academic circle In the 1990s,and KBBF crystal were high⁃tech products that China imposed technical embargo on western countries.The discovery of these high⁃quality nonlinear optical crystals had realized the transformation of China's nonlinear optical crystal research from tracking the advanced western research to leading the international research direction,and established China's leading position in the international research,it is one of the most internationally influential researches in contemporary China.To draw lessons from history,the successful experience of"China brand"crystals can give us useful inspiration in many aspects,such as the internal drive of original innovation,the construction of external environment and the cultivation of innovative talents in today's historical period of vigorously advocating independent innovation.
