摘  要:非正式经济的作用一直饱受争议。有文献表明非正式经济不仅总量巨大,而且已成为正式经济的竞争对手。本研究采用世界银行2002-2019年对144个国家和地区的调查数据,探讨非正式经济对企业销售绩效的影响。研究发现:非正式经济可以促进就业增长并对提升劳动生产率有正向影响;非正式经济同样可以促进企业的销售绩效增长;正式经济与非正式经济的竞争并未对企业销售绩效产生明显不利影响。稳健性检验和工具变量估计表明,在有效处理模型内生性问题前提下,就业增长对于企业销售绩效的影响效应满足因果推断的统计要求。实证发现对政府包容性发展非正式经济及促进非正式经济向正式经济转变具有重要的启示作用。The role of informal economy has always been highly controversial.Some literatures show that the informal economy not only has a huge amount,but also becomes a competitor of the formal economy.This study uses the World Bank survey data of 144 countries and regions from 2002 to 2019 to explore the impact of informal economy on enterprise sales performance.The study finds that:Informal economy can promote employment growth and has a positive impact on improving labor productivity;informal economy can also promote the growth of enterprise sales performance;the competition between formal economy and informal economy has no obvious adverse impact on enterprise sales performance.Robustness test and instrumental variable estimation show that the effect of employment growth on sales performance meets the statistical requirements of causal inference under the premise of effectively dealing with the endogenous problem of the model.The empirical findings have important implications for the inclusive development of informal economy and promotion of the transition from informal economy to formal economy.
