摘  要:1932年清华入学考试中由陈寅恪代出的对对子、作文题等国文试题引起风波,声音多来自民众,与此相反知识界则鲜有议论。陈所反对的“格义式”文法成为现代汉语语法的先声。知识界对该事件的反应,恰好体现出新文学倡导者冲破传统所造成的文化断裂是一个难以避免的事实,而新文学倡导者与他们反对的传统仍然大有关联。过渡时代透露出的多歧性和复杂性,或可从这一事件中窥见一二。in 1932,the entrance exam of Tsinghua University,which was written by Chen yinque,caused a disturbance in the examination questions of the Chinese language,such as the pair of children and composition questions.The"case and meaning"grammar which Chen opposed became the forerunner of modern Chinese grammar.The intellectual reaction to this event is a reflection of the inevitable fact that the advocates of new literature have broken through the cultural rupture caused by tradition,and the advocates of new literature are still strongly associated with the traditions they oppose.The event may offer a glimpse into the ambiguities and complexities of the transitional era.
