摘　　要：始于2013年的“第三次民族大调查”是21世纪以来目前我国开展的最大规模的民族地区调查项目,该项目坚持“从地区看民族”的基本定位,描述和分析了21世纪初以来中国少数民族和民族地区全面小康图景,为理解“中华民族多元一体格局是我国发展的巨大优势”提供了重要的理论视角和论证支撑。在前两次民族大调查的基础上,“第三次民族大调查”在项目定位、研究方法、调研方式、成果类型等方面做了很多新探索。总体来看,“第三次民族大调查”在记录民族地区发展状况、培养学科人才、服务国家决策、推动理论创新和对外传播中国特色解决民族问题正确道路话语等方面发挥了积极作用,为树立正确的中华民族共同体观、铸牢中华民族共同体意识和建设中华民族共同体打下了坚实基础。The“third ethnic survey”,which started in 2013,is the largest ethnic survey project in China since the beginning of the 21st century.This project adheres to the basic principle of“ethnic groups viewed from the regional perspective”and analyzes the overall well-off picture of ethnic minorities and their inhabited areas in China since the beginning of the 21st century.It provides an important theoretical perspective and argumentative support for understanding“the pluralistic and integrated pattern of the Chinese nation is the great advantage of China's development”.On the basis of the two previous ethnic surveys,the“third ethnic survey”has made a lot of new explorations in project objectives,research methods,investigation approaches and types of research results.Generally speaking,the“third ethnic survey”has played a positive role in recording the development of ethnic minority areas of China,cultivating talents in different disciplines,serving the state policies,promoting the relevant theoretical innovation,and popularizing the discourse for the correct solution of ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics.Moreover,it has laid a solid foundation for enhancing the consciousness of the community of the Chinese nation in the process of building the community of the Chinese nation.
