摘　　要：刘大任是北美华文文学的重要作家。20世纪80年代初,学界开始从不同维度对其人其作展开深入探讨,成果丰硕。迄今为止,研究主题集中在中国关怀与中国质素、历史观照与思想剖析、园林隐喻与运动内蕴、叙事艺术及审美方面。但研究尚存在空间分布失衡、欠缺系统性、关联性思维不足、视角不够广阔以及文本与创作观念理解不够透彻等问题。Liu Daren is an important writer in North American Chinese Literature. Researchers start concerning and studying Liu Daren and his works in the early 1980 s and has already received plenty of academic achievements. It has focused on Chinese care and Chinese features, historical reflection and ideological analysis,garden metaphor and sports connotation, narrative art and aesthetics. However, there are still some problems in the research, such as the imbalance of spatial distribution of research power, lack of systematization, weak in relevance thinking, limited perspective, and insufficient understanding of text and creative ideas.
