摘　　要：本文首先分析译员回忆录对外交翻译研究的重要价值,继而通过对外交译员回忆录的梳理,归纳出外交口译具有工作强度高、压力大,领域知识要求高,原文理解难点多和译员角色多元等特点和挑战。本文认为,要胜任外交口译重任,译员必须在语言基础、领域知识、口译技能以及职业素养等方面全方位地锻炼和提升自身能力。This paper first points out the significance of interpreters’memoirs to the research on diplomatic interpreting.Then outlined are the challenges for diplomatic interpreters,including resilience under pressure,broad knowledge,barriers to comprehension,and fulfillment of diversified roles.It is concluded that diplomatic interpreters must improve themselves in language,knowledge,skills,as well as professionalism.
