摘　　要：位于伦敦北部的这座维多利亚式的联排住宅是一位色彩顾问和她丈夫的家。由于客户居家办公,她想要一间从北侧采光的空间足够大的房间。她原来的工作室南向临街,不适宜工作,因为直射的阳光及其投下的阴影都会对色彩有很大的改变。所以她的新工作区朝北,但是同样需要有充足的光照。他们家的厨房原来位于住宅后方的一个狭小的单层扩建结构中,这是19世纪后半叶以来典型的英国联排住宅样式。This Victorian terraced house in north London is home to a colour consultant and her husband.As the die nt works from home,she wanted to have a north-lit space that was sufficiently large.Her old studio faced south,to the street,which was not suitable because the direct sunlight and the shadows it cast changed colours considerably.Her new workspace was therefore to face north,but also needed to have plenty of light.The kitchen was originally located to the rear of the house in a narrow single-storey back extension,typical of British terraced houses from the second half of the 19th century.
