摘  要:极简主义是雷蒙德·卡佛小说的艺术特征,但历来研究者集中关注这一表达技巧的美学特性,忽视其与卡佛所处社会现实的深度关联,抑或以“纪实文学”观之,将其还原为社会现实的表述,而轻视卡佛小说的艺术特性。其实,卡佛的极简诗学与社会生活有着精确的同构性,他不仅将时代的必然性以社会内容呈现,还以特殊的书写形式阐述与回应。具体来说,极简的书写形式是卡佛笔下蓝领阶层“扼住咽喉”的生存状态的表征,并且卡佛在追求艺术自觉的同时,已经在书写之中形成这样的反思,他通过表层的、空缺的、异质的语言形式,试图揭开媒介复魅时代语言的贬值现象,以及被社会精英想象与评价的阶层真相。Minimalism is the artistic feature of Raymond Carver’s novels,but researchers have always focused on the aesthetic characteristics of this expression skill,ignoring its deep association with the social reality Carver is in,or reducing it to the expression of social reality in the view of“documentary literature”,thus ignoring the artistic characteristics of Carver’s novels.In fact,Carver’s minimal poetics has a precise isomorphism with social life.He not only presents the inevitability of his age in social content,but also expounds and responds in special writing forms.Specifically,the minimalist form of writing is the representation of the survival state of blue-collar class“holding throat to the point”in Carver’s novels,and Carver has formed such reflection in writing while pursuing artistic consciousness.Through superficial,vacant and heterogeneous language forms,he tries to uncover language’s depreciation in the era of media reenchantment and the class truth imagined and evaluated by social elites.
