摘 要:本文选取“钢丝椅”为代表性客体,探究其所代表的“世纪中期现代主义”风格家具的设计特点及其背后所蕴含的决定因素与商业逻辑。本文以文献研究与案例分析为基本方法,首先综合分析了“钢丝椅”诞生的时代背景、市场环境与审美倾向等背景要素,总结“世纪中期现代主义”风格所处的特殊历史时期对于家居设计品消费市场产生的影响;再经由对于设计师个人风格等主观要素的探索,厘清世纪中期现代主义时期设计师代表如何在回应市场取向的基础上,构建个人的竞争优势。研究结果揭示了该风格设计作品在特定的历史文脉与商业环境下,通过圆融地迎合多元市场需求、扎实地完善成品质量以及将个人的美学技法灌注于作品之中,成就了该风格设计作品经久不衰的市场表现与独特的审美价值,为设计从业者提供从事商业设计时的历史经验和实践参考。Taking "wire chair" as the object for analysis, this paper aims to explore the design characteristics of "Mid-century modern"(MCM) style furniture, and the determinants as well as business logic behind it. Taking literature research and case analysis as the basic method, it comprehensively analyzes the objective elements such as the era background, market environment and aesthetic tendency when the "wire chair" was born and summarizes the impact of the special historical period of MCM on the consumer market of furniture design products. Then, through exploring subjective elements such as designer’s personal style, it clarifies how designers in the period of MCM built their competitive advantage based on catering to market tastes. The results explain that under the special historical and commercial environment, MCM style design works have achieved the enduring commercial achievements and unique aesthetic value by successfully catering to a variety of market needs, improving the quality of finished products and injecting personal aesthetic techniques into the works, which provides design practitioners engaged in commercial design with valuable historical experience and practical reference.
