摘　　要：泰山石刻自得到法国汉学家沙畹关注与介绍以来,海外研究已历百年。2008年美国汉学家韩文彬《文字的风景:早期与中古中国摩崖石刻》是西方第一部以中国石刻为专题的研究性著作,其立足于欧美20世纪90年代以来颇为盛行的空间理论,从空间政治方面对历代帝王封禅泰山与岱顶摩崖做了新的解读。It has been 100 years since the stone inscriptions on the Mount Tai was introduced to the west by the French Sinologist Edouard Chavanne. In 2008, a new book, The Landscape of Words(2008) by Robert E. Harrist Jr. was published and proved to be the first monograph on the moya in China. Harrist based his book strongly on the prevailing spatial theory, which had been influential during 1990 s, and accordingly made a lot of fresh and political interpretations about the stone inscriptions on the Mount Tai, which were created by numerous Chinese Emperors who had ascended the Mount Tai and accomplished the rituals to the Heaven and the Earth.
