理工科大学助力城市创新生态系统建设的路径和机制——以纽约康奈尔理工学院为例  

On Approaches and Mechanisms of Universities of Science and Engineering to Urban Innovation Ecosystem Construction Promotion——Experience from Cornell Tech

摘　　要：全球科创中心的构建依赖于有活力、可持续的区域/城市创新生态系统。城市创新生态系统建设过程中,理工科大学发挥着重要支撑和引领作用。城市创新区理论及城市科技创新生态系统框架下,理工科大学在城市创新生态系统中承载和赋能人力资产、经济资产、物质资产和网络资产四大资产要素。纽约康奈尔理工学院案例助力城市创新生态系统建设的路径和机制,可为我国理工科大学更好地服务全球科创中心建设提供借鉴。The construction of global science & technology innovation center depends on dynamic and sustainable regional/urban innovation ecosystem.In the process of urban innovation ecosystem construction,the university of science & engineering plays an important role.Based on the theory of “Innovation District” and the framework of urban tech innovation ecosystem,this study proposes four asset elements that universities of science & engineering embody and empower in the urban innovation ecosystem:human asset,economic asset,physical asset and network asset.Based on this framework,Cornell Tech is selected as case to discuss possible approaches and mechanisms of universities of science & engineering to promote urban tech innovation ecosystem formation,and thus provides reference for related Chinese universities to better serve Chinese cities and regions to build global science & technology innovation centers.
