摘　　要：本文在梳理了“校园小说”这一概念的源流及其发展沿革的基础上,进一步探讨美国“校园小说”的兴起和发展,探索美国早期“校园小说”曾经遭遇过的质疑与挑战,并概括了早期美国“校园小说”代表性主题的呈现。本文认为,美国“校园小说”从其兴起之日起,即承担了一定的历史书写和文化记忆的重任,是美国文学殿堂中的一颗闪亮的珍珠。This article first sorts out the origin and development of the concept of “campus novel”. And under this concept, it explores the rise and development of American “campus novels”, as well as the doubts and challenges encountered by early American “campus novels”, and further summarizes the representative themes presented in early American “campus novels”. In this process of sorting and generalizing, this article points out that the American “campus novel” has taken as its task a certain amount of historical writing and cultural memory since its rise, and that it is surely a shining pearl in the palace of American literature.
