摘  要:随着中国的经济发展和海外人才政策的不断完善,越来越多的海归入职企业并成为CEO。技术创新投入是企业转型发展的必需投资,不过有海外经历的CEO对技术创新投入有何影响,这一问题目前尚未得到一致结论。从高阶理论出发,通过理论推导提出3个研究假设,以CEO海外经历为解释变量,技术创新投入为被解释变量,企业国际化程度为调节变量建立计量模型。研究结果表明:有海外留学经历的CEO能促进企业技术创新投入,有海外工作经历的CEO与技术创新投入无显著关系;企业国际化程度越低,有海外学习经历的CEO对技术创新投入的促进作用越强。上述结论在考虑了受限变量、其他指标及选择性偏差问题后依然稳健。分析结果进一步指出,海外学习经历是“附加型”经历,海外工作经历是“嵌入型”经历。企业可以聘用有海外学习经历的CEO促进创新,各级政府应落实人才政策,促进留学生回国,在国际创新竞争中获得人力资本优势。With the development of Chinese economy and the continuous improvement of overseas talent policy,more and more returnees are joining companies and becoming CEOs.Technological innovation investment is a necessary investment for enterprise transformation and development.However,there is no consensus on the impact of CEOs with overseas experience on technological innovation investment.Based on upper echelons theory,in this paper we put forward three hypotheses through theoretical deduction,and establish an econometric model with CEOs overseas experience as the explanatory variable,technological innovation input as the explained variable,and degree of internationalization as the moderating variable.The results show that CEOs with overseas study experience promote the investment in technological innovation,while CEOs with overseas work experience have no significant relationship with the investment in technological innovation;the lower the internationalization of the enterprise,the stronger the promotion effect of CEOs with overseas study experience on technological innovation investment.These conclusions remain robust after considering the restricted variables,other indicators and endogenous problems.According to the analysis results,it is pointed out that overseas study experience is“additional”experience,and overseas work experience is“embedded”experience.Enterprises can hire CEOs with overseas study experience to promote innovation,and governments at all levels should implement talent policies to encourage the students to return home and gain human capital advantages in international innovation competition.
