摘　　要：湘北地区传统音乐与舞蹈文化是湖湘文化的重要组成部分,对其历史脉络进行梳理可发现,其与中国古代音乐与舞蹈文化的历史分期相一致。湘北地区传统音乐与舞蹈文化又显示出崇尚巫风、与“水文化”息息相关、融合湘鄂赣三地文化要素等,展现出独特的审美风韵。The traditional music and dance culture of Xiangbei(the north of Hunan Province) is an important part of Hunan culture, and a review of its historical thread shows that it is consistent with the historical periodization of ancient Chinese music and dance culture. The traditional music and dance culture of Xiangbei region also shows its unique aesthetic style, i.e., it advocates the witchcraft, is closely linked with the “water culture”, and integrates the cultural elements of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi.
