摘　　要：中国古地图由图形和文字两类信息组成,二者共同向读者展示地理信息。本文以放马滩地图为研究对象,对地图中部分文字进行了重新释读,并由此探讨古地图中文字所起到的辅助性注记、辅助地理定位、充当比例尺等重要作用。Maps in ancient China normally contained two parts of information from graphics and texts,respectively.These two kinds of information express geographic information to the reader.This article examines the wooden map found at the Fangmatan site and reinterprets some of the written characters on the map.It also discusses some of the important functions of written characters in ancient maps,including as complementary record,supplementary information on the location and being used as a scale.
