摘　　要：1899—1900年达到高潮的具有一定反帝爱国性质的义和团运动,最后被侵略中国的八国联军和清朝卖国政府合力绞杀。在八国联军进攻北京、城破在即的关键时刻,被清政府临时委为团练大臣的王懿荣全家殉国。此举为这场惨败的反侵略战争增添了悲壮之色,但也为后人留下了深沉的思考。The Boxer Movement,which reached its climax from 1899 to 1900 with a certain anti-imperialist and patriotic nature,was finally strangled by the Eight Power Allied Force who invaded China and the traitorous government of the Qing Dynasty.At the critical moment when the Eight Power Allied Force attacked Beijing and the city was about to be destroyed,Wang Yirong’s family,who was temporarily appointed by the Qing government as the minister of regimental training,died,which left deep thought for the later generations of people.
