摘　　要：国内外图书馆关于近代特色报纸数字资源建设的实践案例层出不穷,但缺乏对大规模、跨语种近代报纸资源数字化的整体策划和实践。文章以近代著名洋行——字林洋行在华出版的跨度百年的系列中英文报纸为例,通过文献调研、需求调研、技术实践等方法,梳理文献内容,制定元数据框架,对大规模数据进行加工、验收和清洗,最终形成可供知识检索的数字资源平台。该案例可为探索一套更为通用的大规模、跨语种的近代报纸文献的数字化实践提供借鉴的方案。Practical cases of digital resource construction about modern characteristic newspaper in domestic and overseas libraries emerge one after another.However,these cases lack overall plan as well as practice of resource digitization about large-scale and cross-lingual modern newspaper.The paper takes a series of centurial Chinese and English newspapers as an example,which is published in China by the North-China Daily News&Herald,Ltd.,a modern famous foreign firm.Through literature research,demand research,technical practice and other methods,the paper reviews literature content,develops metadata framework,processes,accepts and cleans large-scale data.Finally,a digital resource platform for knowledge retrieval is formed.The case provides referential solutions for exploring a set of more general digitization practice of large-scale,cross-lingual modern newspaper literature.
