摘　　要：谢灵运《山居赋》世称文学名作,然该赋的“慕椹高林,剥芨岩椒”之“芨”所指为何,众说纷纭,没有定论。综合运用语言学、文字学、文献学、植物学、中药学及造纸术等理论知识进行分析考察,可知“芨”为“日及(芨)”,是“朱槿”的别名,属锦葵科木槿属植物。Xie Lingyun’s Shanju Fu is known as a literary masterpiece,but there are existing divergent opinions on the meaning of the word of Ji which is in the sentence “Mu Shen Gaolin,Bo Ji Yanjiao” in Shanju Fu,with no conclusion yet.By the comprehensive application of linguistics,philology,literature,botany,Chinese pharmacy,papermaking and other theoretical knowledge for analysis and investigation,we can see that “Ji” is “Riji”,and is the alias of “Zhujin(Hibiscus rosa-sinensis)”,which belongs to the hibiscus genus of the Malvaceae family.
