清末至民国时期南海《更路簿》兴盛原因探微

摘　　要：海南渔民的《更路簿》在明代形成之后,在清末和民国时期便进入兴盛阶段,突出表现在《更路簿》的本子增多、记载的内容极其丰富、航海海域覆盖面广、南海诸岛航线和地名命名的增加等方面。主要原因在于,对当时的渔民来说出海捕鱼成了唯一的生存出路,新加坡马蹄螺的巨额利润激发了渔民们使用《更路簿》出海的需求,在当时他们还拥有先进的造船和航海技术及敢于冒险、不怕死的精神。海南渔民和他们手中的《更路簿》对维护我国的南海权益,建设海洋强国,乃至南海文明都做出了重要贡献。Hainan fishermen's Geng Lu Bu was formed in the Ming Dynasty,and then entered a prosperous stage in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.It is prominently manifested in the increase in the number of books in Geng Lu Bu,the extremely rich content of records,the wide coverage of the navigational area,the increase in the routes of the South China Sea islands and the naming of place names,etc.The main reason for the prosperity was that for the fishermen at that time,fishing at sea became the only way to survive.The huge profits of Singapore horseshoe snails promoted the fishermen’s demand for using Geng Lu Bu to navigate.At that time,they also had advanced shipbuilding capability and sailing skills and the spirit of adventurous and not afraid of death.Hainan fishermen and their Geng Lu Bu have made important contributions to safeguarding our country's rights and interests in the South China Sea,building a maritime power,and even the civilization of the South China Sea.
