摘　　要：“取象比类”是一种中医哲学的思维方式,其独特性增加了中医外译的难度。阐译是变译方法之一,通过解释、增补等变通手段可增义通达、释义文化、符合注疏传统,可化解“取象比类”思维带来的理解障碍。本文以《黄帝内经》英译本为研究对象,聚焦中医“取象比类”思维的阐译现象,分析阐译原因、方式及优劣势。研究发现阐译可明晰语义、帮助读者理解,是一种有效表达中医“取象比类”思维的翻译方式,可为中医外译广泛借鉴,以助于中医文化海外传播,但使用时须遵循适度、忠实等原则。Analogy of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a distinctive mode of thinking,whose uniqueness increases the difficulty of TCM translation.Explanatory translation,one of variation translation methods,can help remove the barrier to understanding TCM culture caused by this thinking mode because it conveys a more explicit form,paraphrase TCM culture and fits the tradition of notes and commentaries by means of explanation,addition,etc.This paper focuses on explanatory translation of analogy in the English versions of Inner Canon of Huangdi,and analyses causes,means,advantages as well as disadvantages of it.Based on the analyses,the conclusion has been drawn:explanatory translation is an effective and adaptive means to convey analogy in TCM by adhering to the principles of loyalty and appropriateness,and its application into rendering TCM literature will improve the communication of Chinese culture with the world.
