摘　　要：西方语言学尤其是语义学的观念、方法对朱自清和傅斯年都有重要影响。但两者所接受的是不同学术传统的语义研究,傅斯年深深浸润于欧洲大陆以德国为中心的历史语文语义学,朱自清接受的是20世纪20、30年代以英国为中心的语义研究传统。朱、傅尝分别注意到对方最重要和最能体现其研究特点的著述,此种关注颇能反映两者学术旨趣尤其是研究方法的一致性。更重要的是,西方语言学、语义学研究自晚清已经影响了中国学界,贯穿了近现代文学及古史、思想史研究,交织成一个绵延的学术谱系。Western Linguistics, particularly the conceptions and methodologies in semantics, had a significant influence on Zhu Ziqing and Fu Sinian. Nevertheless, they accepted different academic traditions of semantic studies. Fu Sinian was immersed in the semantics of historical texts in continental Europe with Germany at the center, while Zhu Ziqing accepted the tradition of semantic studies with the UK at the center in the 1920s and 1930s. Zhu Ziqing and Fu Sinian mutually recognized each other’s most significant writings which best represented their research. Such recognition displayed their similarities in academic interests, particularly methodology. More significantly, western linguistic and semantic studies had impacted Chinese academia as early as the late Qing Dynasty, influencing research in the modern history of literature, ancient history and intellectual history, and thereby developed into an academic genealogy.
