摘　　要：通过从同义动词、同义名词、同义形容词、同义短语、同义词/短语、同义术语、赘言同义词等7个方面列出了《1978年海员培训、发证和值班标准国际公约》(STCW公约)中分布的同义语(共270个),并举例介绍了STCW公约中同义语的使用特点,旨在帮助读者准确掌握这些同义语在STCW公约中的确切含义、搭配关系和用法,最大限度发挥同义语在语言运用中的积极作用,助推对STCW公约的学习、翻译及有关STCW公约修正提案的研究和撰写等工作的开展。The paper lists the main synonyms(270 in total)in the STCW Convention in the 7 categories of synonymous verbs,synonymous nouns,synonymous adjectives,synonymous phrases,synonymous words/phrases,synonymous terms and tautology synonyms.The characteristics of the synonym usage in the STCW Convention are illuminated with examples,aiming at enabling readers to accurately acquire the precise meaning,collocation and usage of the synonyms in the STCW Convention,giving play to the significant role of synonyms in language usage to the largest extent,and thus promoting the study and translation of the STCW Convention as well as the research and drafting of proposals for amendments to the STCW Convention.
