摘　　要：体认语言学基于马克思主义的唯物观和后现代哲学的人本观提出了一个全新认识:语言具有体认性。如在较大的静态场景中移动的较小事物会更引人注意,这是我们生活中习以为常的经验,学界从中总结出了一条十分重要的体认方式“突显原则”。本文基于此简析了英语中的词法成因,特别是“词类划分、转换、屈折变化、名词可数性”等,这不仅在理论上具有新颖性,而且在教学上也具有实践性。Embodied-Cognitive Linguistics,based on Marxist materialism and humanism in postmodernist philosophy,has proposed a brand-new view:embodied cognitivity of language.For example,a smaller moving object in larger static scenery is more attractive,which is our usual experience in daily life,and which has been summarized as a very important embodied-cognitive strategy"the principle of prominence"by scholars.According to this principle,the present paper has initially analyzed the motivation of English morphology,especially the division of word classes,conversion,derivation,and countability of nouns etc.,which is not only of novelty in theory,but also of practicalness in teaching.
