摘 要:语言参与为二语发展搭建了认知、情感和社会多维框架,对产生语言意识和促进语言学习有重要作用,在二语任务研究中日益受到关注。本文阐释了语言参与的概念,并指出其研究框架从单个维度发展为多个维度,测量指标逐渐具体化。然后从任务的设计和实施因素及学习者的能力和情感因素分析了研究主题。最后从测量指标、任务因素、学习者因素和理论视角对未来研究做出展望。Engagement with Language(EWL),an increasing area of focus in L2 task research that builds the cognitive,affective,and social framework for second language development,has played an important role in generating language awareness and promoting language learning.This paper firstly explains the definition of EWL and highlights the evolutionary change of models from a cognitive dimension to multi-dimensions with measures becoming more concrete.Research themes are then discussed in terms of task design and implementation factors,in conjunction with learner factors of ability and affective variables.Finally,directions for future research are proposed on the basis of EWL measures,task factors,learner factors,and theoretical perspectives.
