双关在英美文学翻译作品中的应用——以《哈姆雷特》为例

摘　　要：莎士比亚是举世闻名的双关语作家,在他的作品中有很多使用了双关语的地方,在增添作品语言魅力的同时,起到了冷嘲热讽的效果,从而形象地揭示了人物性格,在文章当中起到了画龙点睛的作用。《哈姆雷特》作品中至少有90处的双关语,在翻译过程中,双关语的应用可能会影响到翻译效果,所以有必要通过对双关语的评析,合理应用翻译策略,从而更好地传达作品想要表达的文学魅力。Shakespeare is a world-famous pun writer. In many places where the pun is used in his works, while adding the language charm of the work, it plays a sarcastic effect, so as the image revealing the character, and playing the finishing touch in the article.There are at least 90 pus in Hamlet. In the translation process, the application of pus may affect the translation effect. Therefore,it is necessary to reasonably apply the translation strategy through the evaluation of pupuns, so as to better convey the literary charm that the work wants to express.
