媒介叙事的多元呈现:基于《历史三调》的新闻传播研究史学转向思考

摘  要:“当年的新闻,如今被称作‘历史’”。从叙事文本角度看,媒介叙事与历史叙事在多个层面具有相通性,赋予新闻传播研究和史学著作分析相互借鉴的可能。美国史学家保尔·柯文从不同历史叙事主体的视角出发,提出了事件、经历、神话三种解读中国义和团运动史的途径,多维度考察了历史叙事的深层逻辑。与柯文对历史叙事具有多重特征的评价相近,当代媒介叙事也呈现出主体多元化、互动复杂化、走向迷思化等多种特征,传统媒介叙事研究途径不足以对其展开全面深入考察,需要引入更为立体、视角更丰富的分析框架。本文基于比较思维,探讨柯文“历史三调”叙事分析模式用于媒介叙事研究的可能性及优势,以期扩展新闻传播研究的可用理论范围。“After a long time, news would become history”. In terms of narrative texts, media narratives and historical narratives are interlinked to some degree, providing an interdisplinary possibility of historical study and the study of journalism and communication studies. From the perspectives of different narrative subjects, American historian Paul A. Cohen has formed three ways to interpret the history of The Boxers Movement in China, including event, experience, and myth, and studied the underlying logic of historical narratives. Similar to Cohen’s arguments on historical narratives, modern media narrative is also characterized by the diversification of subjects, complicated interactions, and mystification. And traditional research methods are not necessarily compatible with a comprehensive and in-depth study of media narrative. Therefore, a more comprehensive analytical framework is needed. Based on comparative analysis, this thesis is an interdisplinary attempt to explore the possibility and advantages of “History in Three Keys” narrative framework and its application to media narrative study.
