摘　　要：肖洛霍夫于《他们为祖国而战》中描述了苏联红军在卫国战争中溃败后退至顿河草原的故事。作品以顿河草原的自然环境为基础,写出了普通士兵在战争过程中仍然追求幸福的人道主义精神。该书中战争场面的描写,与自然环境的描写形成鲜明对比,自然描写彰显人道主义,人文描写彰显家国情怀,同时自然描写亦是家国情怀的映射。They Fought for Their Country by Sholokhov describes the Soviet Red Army’s retreat to the grassland of the Don River after defeated in the Great Patriotic War.Based on the natural environment of the grassland along the river,the book depicts the humanitarian spirit of the ordinary soldiers pursuing happiness in the midst of war.In sharp contrast to the war scenes,the natural depiction highlights the reflection of humanitarianism as well as the patriotism through humanistic description.
