High-Quality Development of Stomatology under the National Strategy

摘　　要：The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has proposed a national strategy for a healthy China,which includes the formulation of a new plan to promote high-quality development.Oral diseases have been included in the national“Medium-and Long-term Plan for the Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Diseases”.Chinas national oral health strategy provides great opportunities for advancements in stomatology and for the improvement of the people s oral health.This article discusses these opportunities for advancement in the field of stomatology in China from six aspects:societal needs of oral health;advances in science and technology;changed diagnosis and treatment modes;application of big data;multidistiplinary integration;and talent training.
