广义修辞学视角下的《红楼梦》回目英译

摘　　要：《红楼梦》回目具有高超的艺术性和深刻的思想性,融叙事与审美于一体,是作者独特的修辞设计。以广义修辞学为视角,从修辞技巧、修辞诗学和修辞哲学三个功能层面对《红楼梦》两个英语全译本的回目翻译进行深入的比较研究,探讨回目的艺术性和思想性及其在译文中的体现。以调音、炼字与用典、文体与风格及死亡修辞等的翻译为例,分析原文的修辞表达及译者的处理方式。With superb artistry and profound ideological level, the chapter titles of Hongloumeng combine narration and aesthetics, which are the author’s unique rhetorical design. From the perspective of generalized rhetoric, an in-depth comparative study is made on the translation of the chapter titles of the two complete English versions of Hongloumeng. It aims at exploring the artistic and ideological nature of the chapter titles and its embodiment in the translation from three functional aspects of rhetoric: rhetorical skills, rhetorical poetics and rhetorical philosophy. Taking the translation of sound-deployment, diction-refinement and allusion-applying, form and style, death rhetoric as an example, the rhetorical expressions of the original text and the translating skills of the translators are analyzed.
