摘　　要：生态文明继续为走向一个可持续的世界提供了最佳路线图,因为它把对科学的深刻理解和对文明本质的洞见结合了起来。“生态学”这个词既意味着事实,也包含着价值观。生态学传授所有生物的相互依存性、共生原则和完美循环的道理。促进生态文明意味着重建人类社会,以便使其成员与彼此、与其他生物、乃至与作为一个整体的生物圈合作共生。生态文明不仅是关于未来的梦想,而且是具体行动的指南,是科学研究和文化研究的交汇之处,是人类、地球生物圈和所有物种的健康未来。Ecological civilization continues to offer the best roadmap towards a sustainable world.The reason is that it combines a deep understanding of science with insight into the nature of civilization.The word“ecology”means both facts and values.Ecology teaches the interdependence of all living things,the principle of symbiosis and perfect recycling.Promoting ecological civilization means structuring human societies so that their members live cooperatively with each other,with other living beings,and with the biosphere as a whole.Ecological civilization is much more than a dream about the future;it is a guide to specific actions.It is a nexus where the study of science and the study of culture meet.Ecological civilization offers a healthy future for humanity,for the planet’s biosphere,and for the health of all the species.
