摘　　要：莫里森的小说《爱》讲述了一个美国黑人家族中三代黑人女性在民权运动背景下爱恨交织的故事,小说中的黑人女性形象由单薄走向丰满,由一元走向多元。她们由沉默顺从到意识觉醒,从反抗父权到追求平等的嬗变过程有力地证明了黑人女性的成长与进步,成熟与理智。通过对三代女性形象多层次的分析,可以对莫里森小说中的女性形象的多面性有着更深刻、更清晰的解读,可以更深入地了解莫里森对黑人女性以及对本民族的关怀。Love written by Morrison tells the story that three generations of black women experience love and hatred in a black American family under the background of the civil rights movement.The images of black women in the novel have changed from being thin to being plump and from being unitary to being pluralistic.The transmutation process from silence and obedience to the awakening of consciousness,from resistance to patriarchy to pursuit of equality eff ectively proves black women’s growth and progress,maturity and rationality.Through the multi-level analysis of female images of three generations,we can gain a more profound and clear interpretation of multifaceted female images in Morrison’s novels,and achieve a deeper understanding of Morrison’s concern for black women and black community.
