摘 要:史学是中国传统的学问,但在旧式的史学教育中并无有关外国历史知识的教育。随着近代中国高等教育的兴起,外国历史教育才随之而起。孔繁霱先生于1927—1937年任教清华大学长达10年,对中国早期世界史教育课程体系的建立颇具开拓之功。以孔繁霱先生为代表的具有新观念的史学研究者将欧美的史学观念引入中国,介绍了欧美史家多样的治史方法,设置了欧美国家史学的通识课程,在教学与研究实践中充分展现了中外史学不同思想观念所产生的现实效用的不同。这些课程的设置,不仅扩大了中国人的视野,积累了学习外国历史的经验,而且设计出了较完善的课程体系,使中国的史界普遍接受了新型的“史观”,为外国历史最终发展成为当下的一级学科——“世界历史学科”,奠定了坚实的基础。Historiography is traditional learning in China,but there is no education about foreign history knowledge in the old-styled historiography education.With the rise of higher education in modern China,foreign history education comes into being.Mr.Kong Fanyu taught at Tsinghua University from 1927 to 1937,and was a pioneer for establishing the curriculum system of the early world history education in China.The historians with new ideas,represented by Mr.Kong Fanyu,drew the historical ideas of Europe and America into China,introduced diverse historical methods,set up a general course of historiography of European and American countries,and fully showed the different practical effects produced by the different ideas of Chinese and foreign historiography in the practice of teaching and research.Setting up these courses broadens the vision of the Chinese people,accumulates the experience of studying foreign history,and a more perfect course system is designed,which makes the Chinese historical circles generally accept the new-styled“historiography concept”,and lays a solid foundation for the final development of foreign history into the current first-level subject:“World History”.
