摘　　要：修身为本是中国文化的重要思想,其以先秦儒家所确立的“修齐治平”为主要进路,发展出以孟子性善论为根基的内求和以荀子性恶论为根基的外在教化。这两者共同组成了古代士人“内圣外王”的理想人格。修身为本的理想人格与现代的公民道德人格修养具有内在一致性。道德人格的内在性、实践性、超越性是修身为本思想实现古今贯通的逻辑基础,其主要体现在个人、社会和国家三个层面。修身为本既是自我管理的关键,也是良好社会风气形成的要因。修身为本为以德治国提供了有效的方法途径,是新时代中国特色社会主义建设的重要条件。Self-cultivation is an important thought in Chinese culture,and its main approach is“to cultivate the moral self,regulate the family,maintain the state rightly and make all peaceful”,which was established by pre-Qin Confucianism.It developed the inner pursuit based on Mencius's theory of good nature,and the external education based on Xunzi's theory of evil nature.These two together constitute the ideal personality of the ancient scholar,that is the“inner saint and outer king”.The ideal personality based on self-cultivation is inherently consistent with the modern civic moral personality cultivation.The immanence,practicality and transcendence of moral personality are the logical basis for the realization of the thought of self-cultivation,which is mainly reflected in the three levels of individual,society and country.Self-cultivation is not only the key to self-management,but also the main reason for the formation of a good social atmosphere.It provides an effective method and approach for governing the country by virtue,and is an important supplement to a harmonious society and the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
