摘 要:“5E”模式由美国生物学课程研究所创立,包括引入(engagement)、探究(exploration)、解释(explanation)、迁移(elaboration)和评价(evaluation)五个教学环节。“5E”教学模式强调科学探究与知识主动建构的统一,重视学生已有知识和经验的作用,因此该模式也被越来越多的研究者应用于其他学科的课程教学。英语听力课程是高校英语和翻译专业的基础必修课,旨在培养学生对不同英语听力材料的理解力和听力技能的掌握及实践能力。文章尝试以“5E”模式为理论依据,从教学程序和课程评价等方面研究了该模式在英语听力课堂教学中的应用,其激发了学生的学习兴趣和主动性,提高了学生的英语听力能力,收到了良好的教学效果。5E model is created by American Biology Course Study Program. It is consisting of five phases, namely engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration and evaluation. The 5E model put more emphasis on integration of scientific exploration and active learning of knowledge. It highlights the role the students play in acquired experience. Therefore, it has been applied in the other subjects and teaching study, among which, as the compulsory course for the English and BTI majors, the college English listening course should by no means an exception in the application study of 5E model in that it’s aimed to improve students’ comprehension and skills of various listening materials. So this paper is designed to explore the teaching procedures of this course in details under the guidance of 5E model. Through analyzing the five phases of 5E model in the teaching procedure and course assessment, it is proved that students’ learning interests and initiations are greatly aroused, the abilities of English listening for students are increasingly enhanced and the teaching efficiency of college English listening course gets largely improved in practices.
