基于COCA语料库的近义词辨析——以every和each为例

摘　　要：英语中存在大量的近义词,一直是词汇教学的重点和难点。语料库的出现为近义词辨析提供了较传统方法——字典所不可比拟的优势。它容量庞大,语料真实,使用起来很方便。文章采用基于语料库的研究方法,使用美国当代英语语料库(COCA)对近义词every和each进行检索,比较了其在词频、语域、搭配及语义韵上的差异,旨在充分利用语料库帮助英语学习者辨析近义词,从而提高他们的英语水平。There are lots of synonyms in English.They are the focus and difficulty in vocabulary teaching.Corpora provides a great advantage over traditional dictionaries:large capacity,authentic corpus,convenience.This paper takes the research method of corpora to compare“every”and“each”in terms of frequency,register distribution,collocation and semantic prosody,aiming to make full use of corpus to identify synonyms,so as to help English learners to identify synonyms,so as to improve their English level.
