摘　　要：社会学诞生于19世纪的法国并于19世纪末传入中国,虽然在20世纪上半叶经历了第一次勃兴,但于1952年的院系调整中被取消,直到改革开放以后的1979年才又重新走上恢复与重建之路。《重建中国社会学:40位社会学家口述史实录(1979-2019)》以口述史研究的方法,收录了涵盖中国第二代和第三代社会学家共40位学者的口述史访谈。本文通过运用“社会学想象力”,重点分析了“知青一代”社会学家的个人命运和历史变迁的交织,以及他们在大变革时代下的学术回响,并对下一代社会学家的登场做出了展望。Since the beginning of 2019,Professor Zhou Xiaohong’s research team at the Institute of Contemporary China,Nan-jing University,has embarked on a series of oral history studies on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,of which Reconstructing Chinese Sociology:An Oral History of 40 Sociologists(1979-2019)is one of the research results.The book presents the life courses of 40 Chinese sociologists,including 5 scholars from Taiwan and Hong Kong,30 from Chinese mainland,and 5 international scholars.Due to the historiographical shift towards a“bottom-up”view of history and advances in recording equipment and tech-nology,oral histories have developed and triggered a paradigm revolution in the field of history,making it possible for the bottom of the heap to express their voices and fill in the grand national narrative.The oral history of an individual is not only a review and description of his or her own life course,but also closely intertwined with the time,the country,and the social structure in which they live.Moreover,sociology is a product of social change and sociologists are in turn tasked with under-standing and explaining the social change.Therefore,through the oral histories of these 40 sociologists,we can take a better glimpse at the historical changes in contemporary China.Sociology was born in France in the 19th century and introduced to China at the end of the century.In the turbulent first half of the 20th century,sociology had its first boom in China,and even became the“strongest on the ground”outside of Europe and the United States at one time,which is still difficult to surpass.However,after the founding of the People’s Re-public of China,sociology was abolished in 1952 during the restructuring of faculties.Nearly thirty years later,China decid-ed to reform and open up,and at the same time,sociology began its reconstruction in 1979.Three generations of sociologists have been active in the reconstruction of Chinese sociology.While the first
