摘　　要：从提升中国文学译介与传播效果,到加强中国特色翻译理论建设,及至为国家对外译介战略提供决策建议,均离不开对文学译介与传播活动的实证探究与理论思辨。新著《中国文学译介与传播模式研究——以英译现当代小说为中心》可谓应时之作。该书以社会翻译学、描写翻译学为理论框架,深入剖析鲁迅、莫言、余华小说英译的五种典型译介与传播模式,据此探究新时代中国文学“走出去”的参照模式与可行性策略。其特点可扼要概括为理论基础扎实,选题视角新颖,研究范式独特,兼顾文本内外,观点独创性强,颇具智库价值。Empirical and theoretical studies on the translation and dissemination of literary works play an indispensable role in improving the acceptance effect of translated Chinese literature, elevating the theorization of translation studies with Chinese characteristics, and providing counsel for China’s national strategy of “out-going through translation and dissemination” in the global literary field.In this regard, Professor Wang Baorong’s Translation and Dissemination Models of Chinese Literature-A Case Study of the English Translations of Modern and Contemporary Novels offers a timely solution.The book, grounded on the theoretical framework of sociology of translation and descriptive translation studies, strives to analyze five typical models of translation and dissemination of English translations from Chinese novels by modern and contemporary writers such as Lu Xun, Mo Yan, and Yu Hua.Furthermore, it explores the feasible model and strategy of the “out-going” of Chinese literature in this new era.The book features a solid theoretical foundation, novel research perspectives, a unique research paradigm, a well-balanced analysis of textual styles and social factors, strong originality, and considerable think-tank value.
