摘　　要：模式识别是人工智能领域的研究重点与难点,然而智能交通领是整个智能行业十分关键的组成部分,因此模式识别就特别关键,对车牌号进行检测、分析与识别是模式识别领域构建智能交通系统重要内容之一。通过摄像头等硬件设备捕捉到行驶车辆车牌视频图像,提取图像中车牌号码的特征进行检测,并对车牌中字符进行识别。本文的研究重点是如何精确且快速地从一幅随机拍摄的车牌图像中提取其中的数字和字母,并可以用文本形式直观地表示出车牌号码。Pattern recognition is the research focus and difficult point in field of artificial intelligence.However,intelligent transportation is a very important part of the whole intelligent industry,so pattern recognition is particularly crucial,the detection,analysis and recognition of vehicle license plate is one of the important contents of intelligent transportation system in pattern recognition contents of intelligent transportation system in pattern recognition field.The video image of the running vehicle license plate is captured by the camera and other hardware devices,and the character of the license plate is detected and recognized.This paper focuses on how to extract the numbers and letters from a random license plate number visually in text form.
