摘 要:促进性别平等和学术公平是高等教育改革与发展的题中应有之义,也是学术女性自身的追求与愿景。作为具有世界影响力的中国高等教育研究专家和杰出女性学者代表,多伦多大学许美德教授拥有丰富的职业生涯经历。许美德认为,当前的大学学术仍以男性为主导,女性面对着无法平衡家庭责任和学术责任的偏见。研究从个体经验和比较研究的视野出发进行对话,认为学术职业阶梯中的女性要适应学者的角色,并寻求学术界的变革,认识到自己在思维和实践中的优势,现实地看待学术职业现状并作好规划,主动寻求和构建强大的支持网络。女性需要坚守学术界的立场和阵地,同时,政府和大学也需要在促进性别平等的改革中作出相应的努力。Promoting gender equality and academic fairness is the proper meaning of the subject of higher education reform and development,and it is also the pursuit and vision of academic women themselves.Ruth Hayhoe,a world-influential Chinese higher education research expert,a representative of outstanding female scholars and a professor in the University of Toronto,has a wealth of professional career experience.Ruth believes that current academic is still dominated by men,and women face the prejudice that cannot balance family responsibilities and academic responsibilities.This conversation started from the perspective of individual experience and comparative research vision and proposed that women in the academic career ladder should adapt to the role of scholars and seek changes in the academic world,recognize their own advantages in thinking and practice,and look at academia realistically and make career planning ahead of time,actively seek and build a strong support network.Women need to stick to their standpoint and positions in academia;at the same time,the government and universities also need to make corresponding efforts in reforms to promote gender equality.
