摘　　要：金属材料工程专业英语课存在教学目标内涵不清,内容与学科前沿脱节、教学手段单一、学生学习积极性不高等问题。在进行课程教学改革中,应做到教学目标凸显应用能力培养,教学内容突出专业科技性,教学手段实现多样化、现代化,教学评价强调过程性,进而提高课程质量。There are some problems in the professional English courses of metal materials Engineering major,such as unclear teaching objectives,disconnection between content and subject frontier,single teaching methods,and low learning enthusiasm of students.In the course teaching reform,the teaching objectives highlights the cultivation of application ability,the teaching content highlights the technological feature,the teaching means realize diversification and modernization,and the teaching evaluation emphasizes the process,so as to improve the quality of teaching.
