摘　　要：该文采用尤金·A·奈达的功能对等理论,系统分析北海市涠洲岛南湾鳄鱼山景区的名称英译中的误译情况,并从功能对等视角探究旅游景点名称的翻译策略。译者可使用直译法、意译法、增译法和音译法等翻译方法,实现译文形式和内容上的良好呈现,以期规范旅游景点的英译,推动北海乃至广西的旅游文化传播。This thesis strives to do a systematic research on the mistranslations of the titles of the scenic spots of the Nanwan Crocodile Mountain of Weizhou Island in Beihai from the Eugene A.Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory,and probes into the translation strategy of the name of scenic spots from the perspective of functional equivalence.Translators can use literal translation,free translation,amplification and transliteration to achieve a good presentation of the form and content of the translation,so as to regulate the translation of scenic spots,and promote the tourism culture transmission in Beihai even in Guangxi.
