“小留学生”现象与华人新移民群体的多重焦虑——论加拿大新移民华文小说中的小留学生形象

摘　　要：从鸦片战争时期的“被全球化”到新时代的“主动全球化”,中国走向世界的姿态和角色已经发生了根本性转变,相应地留学事业也在新的时代语境下有新的意义与使命。在此语境中,加拿大新移民作家针对“小留学生”现象所表征的代际、历史、伦理焦虑,对窥探留学的“发挥作用”将有重要的意义与价值。在“代际焦虑”中,新移民与小留学生在华人族群的未来中确立了社会性的代际关系,在“历史焦虑”中,新移民与小留学生在面向历史的愧疚中建立了自我镜像的历史关联,而在“伦理焦虑”中,新移民与小留学生在“孝”现代变异的表征中确定了情感性的代际关系。在“新移民——小留学生——家长”的三维关联中,新移民不仅重新确认了新居与故土之间的空间关联,还真正认识到文化自信在离散语境,特别是面向未来时得以重建与发展的必要性,而文化自信的建构将为中华民族共同体的全球播散提供强劲动力。From the“passive globalization”during the Opium War to“active globalization”in the new era,China’s posture and role in going global have undergone a fundamental change,and accordingly the study abroad program also has new meaning and mission in the new era context. In this context,the intergenerational,historical and ethical anxieties expressed in writings by new Chinese immigrant writers in response to the phenomenon of“little international students”will be of great significance and value to explore the“role”of studying abroad. In the“intergenerational anxiety”,a social intergenerational relationship is established between new immigrants and little international students in the future of the Chinese ethnic group. In the“historical anxiety”,a self-mirroring historical relationship is established between new immigrants and little international students in the history-oriented guilt,while in the“ethical anxiety”,the intergenerational relationship between new immigrants and little international students is determined in the representation of modern variation of filial piety. In the three-dimensional relationship of“new immigrants”-“little international students”-“parents”,new immigrants have not only reconfirmed the spatial connection between their new home and their homeland,but also truly realized the necessity of cultural selfconfidence to be rebuilt and developed in a discrete context,especially when faced with the future,while the construction of cultural self-confidence will provide a strong impetus for the global dissemination of the Chinese national community.
