摘　　要：楚怡者,“惟楚有材,怡然乐育”之谓。楚怡精神的产生和形成有着深厚的历史背景和内在逻辑。爱国是楚怡精神的根基,兴工是楚怡精神的核心,创新是楚怡精神的源泉。在当代,楚怡精神要与时代精神相契合,要与中国特色社会主义相结合,要与历史经验和现实需要相融合。新时代楚怡精神的价值集中表现为:在“人才强省”中谋求新作为,在“富民兴湘”中展现新担当,在“三高四新”中探索新路径。History flows endlessly, and the spirit is handed down from generation to generation. ChuYi is known as "only Chu has talent and happy education". The emergence and formation of ChuYi spirit has a profound historical background and internal logic. Patriotism is the foundation of ChuYi spirit, industry is the core of ChuYi spirit, and innovation is the source of ChuYi spirit. In contemporary times, ChuYi spirit should be consistent with the spirit of the times, with socialism with Chinese characteristics, and with historical experience and practical needs. In the new era, the value of ChuYi spirit is as follows: seeking new achievements in "strengthening the province with talents", showing new responsibilities in "enriching the people and prospering Hunan" and exploring new paths in "three high and four new".
