林译《李迫大梦》主人公形象变异探析

摘　　要：欧文在“Rip Van Winkle”中塑造了美国文学史上第一个反清教的遁世者形象--瑞普,影响深远。而在林纾翻译的《李迫大梦》中,瑞普的形象发生变异,转变为一个具有中国特色的遇仙访道者。文章结合形象学有关理论,从文本内部出发对原作和译作进行对比分析,探究瑞普形象在林纾译文中如何发生变异及其深层原因。Rip Van Winkle,the first dropout in the history of American literature,was created by Washington Irving in his short story,"Rip Van Winkle".While in the translation of Lin Shu,the dropout was changed into a Taoist.This paper,based on a contrastive analysis of the texts,explores the changes of the image and the reasons why Lin Shu makes the changes in his translation with the theories of the Imagology.
