企业数字化发展何以促进创新

摘　　要：在中国经济由高速发展转向高质量发展的背景下,探讨企业数字化发展是否以及如何推动创新能力提升具有重要的理论和实践意义。文本采用挖掘法,度量企业数字化发展水平,探究数字化发展对企业创新能力的影响及其机制。实证结果表明:随着企业数字化水平的提高,企业创新能力得到显著提升。就传导机制而言,企业数字化发展有利于改善管理效率、激活和培育人力资本、缓解融资约束,进而促进创新水平的提高。企业数字化发展对创新的促进作用具有溢出效应,这表现为内部子公司与外部合营联营公司创新增加。进一步分析表明,具有IT背景与研发背景的高管团队会放大数字化发展对创新的影响。依托数字基础设施建设的先发优势,东部地区企业数字化发展对创新的促进作用要强于中西部地区。对于国有企业与市场化程度较低地区的企业来说,数字化发展对创新能力提升的边际效应更为明显。Under the background of China’s economic transition from high-speed development to high-quality development, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to discuss whether and how the digital development of enterprises can promote the improvement of innovation capability. This paper adopts text mining method to measure the level of enterprise digital development and explore the influence of digital development on enterprise innovation capability and its mechanism. The empirical results show that with the improvement of enterprise digitization level, enterprise innovation ability is significantly improved.In terms of transmission mechanism, digital development of enterprises is conducive to improving management efficiency, activating and cultivating human capital, alleviating financing constraints, and thus promoting the improvement of innovation level. The digital development of enterprises has a spillover effect on innovation, which is reflected in the increase of innovation of internal subsidiaries and external joint ventures. Further analysis shows that senior management teams with IT background and R&D background will amplify the impact of digital development on innovation. Based on the first-mover advantage of digital infrastructure construction, digital development of enterprises in eastern China has a stronger role in promoting innovation than that in central and western China. For state-owned enterprises and enterprises in areas with low degree of marketization, the marginal effect of digital development on the improvement of innovation ability is more obvious.
