摘 要:艺术在长期的历史演变中是一个动态的概念,但在现代美学产生之前,学者们并没有真正从艺术自身的层面上去加以辨析。当代艺术与艺术哲学使传统的艺术理论受到了严重的挑战,甚至于艺术能否被定义也成为了20世纪艺术理论的核心问题。丹托与迪基的“程序主义”是一种规避了艺术定义这一问题本身的定义路径,这一理论虽然将艺术置于更大的社会与历史的范畴之中,但也因为其没有正面回答问题而被一些学者所诟病。本文首先反驳了艺术不可定义论,并在承认惯例有效性的基础上指出艺术存在一种定义自身的传统,在艺术的内部与外部关系之间来理解艺术的定义问题。Art is a dynamic concept in the long-term historical evolution, but before the emergence of modern aesthetics, scholars did not really discriminate it from the level of art itself. Contemporary art and art philosophy have seriously challenged the traditional art theory, and even whether art can be defined has become the core issue of art theory in the 20th century. Danto and Dickie’s “proceduralism” is a definition path that evades the definition of art itself. Although this theory puts art in a larger social and historical category, it has been criticized by some scholars because it does not answer questions directly. This paper first refutes the theory that art cannot be defined, and points out that art has a tradition of defining itself on the premise of admitting the validity of convention, and understands the definition of art between the internal and external relations of art.
