摘  要:Dear Editor,Essential for survival,mechanical sensation is detected and transmited to the spinal cord by primary sensory afferents and their cell bodies located in the dorsal root ganglia(DRG).Multiple types of mechanically sensitive DRG neurons have been identified that mediate various mechanosensation modalities(e.g.non-painful versus painful).
