摘 要:通过文献研究发现,中国英语学习者在音段层面的外国口音主要表现在元音的开口度和舌位与英语母语者不同,双元音的两个元音音素之间缺少滑动,用汉语清塞音替代英语浊塞音,用汉语相似音替代英语摩擦音,发英语流音时进行错误的替代、省音、增音,等等。根据Flege的语音学习模式,中国英语学习者音段层面的外国口音是由于英汉语音系统差异所造成的。因此,在英语语音教学中,应在保证语音输入数量的同时关注输入的质量,重点关注英汉差异,进行正确的语音示范,实现规范的语音输入。Through literature research, it is found that the foreign accent of Chinese EFL learners at the segmental level is mainly manifested in the following aspects: the different levels of openness and tongue positions from native English speakers, a lack of sliding between the two phones of diphthongs, the substitution of English voiced stops with Chinese voiceless stops, the substitution of English fricatives with Chinese similar sounds, the improper substitution, deletion, and epenthesis with English liquids, etc.According to Flege’s Speech Learning Model, the foreign accent of Chinese English learners at the segmental level is caused by the differences between English and Chinese phonetic systems.Therefore, in English pronunciation teaching, more attention should be directed to the input quality in addition to the input quantity, especially the differences between English and Chinese sound systems.
