从“失语”到“对话”:新维多利亚小说中的生命共同体

摘　　要：新维多利亚小说有意识地以维多利亚时代作为叙事背景,绝不是对那个时代的简单回望、怀旧甚至重复,相反表现出比维多利亚小说更加强烈的问题意识与批判精神。选择人性背后的兽性或动物性作为叙事的生命支点并非偶然之举,这本身意味着新维多利亚小说内含丰富多元的自然基因、生命档案和生态意识,同时应该承担更多更大的生态使命。借由塑造众多独特的“人化动物”、“人兽一体”和“半人半兽”等动物化肉体形象,新维多利亚小说努力在人性与动物性之间建构全新的对话性乃至主体间性生态关系,消解人和动物之间生命意义上的失衡、失范与失语,从而建构另一种富有维多利亚时代色彩的“生命共同体”。Neo-Victorian novels take the Victorian society as the narrative setting, which does not simply retrospect and repeat the past, on the contrary, these novels have more obvious question awareness and critical spirit. It is not something occasional to choose animality behind the humanity as the narrative base-point, which indicates that Neo-Victorian novels contain colorful natural gene, life awareness and eco-awareness, and should shoulder inevitable ecological mission. By shaping many mixed life images of “man and animal”, Neo-Victorian novels try to establish another kind of dialogical ecological balance between humanity and animality, and further dispel the imbalance, anomie and aphasia between men and animals, and then form another type of Victorianized “life community”.
